Motorola XT531 Android 2.3 Smartphone Announced

Motorola has introduced its fresh  version of budget-friendly Android 2.3 Gingerbread Smartphone called the Motorola XT531. The new budget-friendly smartphone arrives accompanied by a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a 480×320 pixel resolution and powered by an 800MHz Processor. The XT531 measures 114 x 62 x 11.95 mm and weighs in at 114 grams, it arrives with 512MB of memory and dual-cameras which comprise of a 5-megapixel camera on the back end of the device accompanied by autofocus and flash plus there is a front-facing camera the one that make possible of video calling.

Other specifications of the Motorola XT531 embrace  of WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity, it also arrives with a few sensors which containa proximity sensor, circumfused  light sensor, accelerometer and an e-compass. Motorola, Enable The Xoom’s microSD Card Slot Already

This is just crazy. The Xoom, which was supposed to be Google's pet Honeycomb tablet, came out three months ago and the microSD card slot still doesn't work. Oh, it's not a Android or Honeycomb thing. The slot works fine in every other Honeycomb tablet. It's a Motorola thing and it's ridiculous.Updates have came and gone and none of them including the brand new Android 3.1 update allows the Xoom to use expandable memory. The microSD card slot works the Asus Transformer. It works on the Acer Iconia Tab and the Samsung GalTab 10.1. But not the Xoom.]]>

When we reviewed Motorola's Xoom, all that was available was the $799 3G version. Since then Motorola has released a more affordable $599 WiFi only edition with 32GB of NAND on board. Inside the Xoom, as you're all familiar with is NVIDIA's Tegra 2 SoC. Tegra 2 was Google's reference SoC for the Honeycomb release of Android, and thus it's been the heart and soul of all recently announced Honeycomb tablets.
