Nokia announced the Nokia N9, the very  first pure touch smartphone . Nokia N9 complete Specification, Feature and Price ... Coming soon

Nokia announced the N-series future phone, a phone that will be available in a variety of colors, but the interesting part is that it will not have Windows on it but MeeGo, an open-source operating system that was not released on any device until now.

Feature and Specification
N9 will have an 8 megapixel camera capable of shooting 720p, the memory between 16 and 64 GB, 1 GB RAM, 1 GHz CPU and 3.9 AMOLED display inch with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (no other buttons on the front). Like any self-respecting Smartphone will have a compass, accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light, the total weight of the device being 135g. And the software is said to support HTML5 browser, program navigation and support for Office documents.
The casing is made of polycarbonate and has the following dimensions: 116.5 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm. In addition, the screen is Gorilla Glass, so very strong.

New Nokia Dual Sim Nokia-c2-00 and X1

Nokia has unveiled two dual SIM mobile handsets in India – Nokia C2-00 and Nokia X1-01. The dual SIM music phones have been manufactured at the company's Chennai facility. The dual SIM music phones, made at the company's Chennai facility, have set new benchmarks in the mobile Internet and music space in the entry-level dual SIM category, said Vipul Sabharwal, director sales, Nokia India, during the launch. Nokia C2-00 is priced at Rs. 3,000 and X1-01 is priced at Rs. 2,000.

Nokia said the two mobile phones offer smarter multiple SIM management and enhanced music capabilities, and the handsets have been designed keeping in mind the requirements of the Indian consumers. Nokia claimed the Easy Swap feature of the handset allows users to change SIM cards turning off the phone or removing the battery. Also, with the Nokia C2-00, users can browse the Internet, read emails and enjoy instant messaging with either SIM card. With 32 GB expandable memory, one of the interesting features of Nokia C2-00 is that there is no need to reboot or redefine settings, as the phone remembers up to five different SIM cards.

Coming with up to 16 GB of memory support, Nokia X1-01 also boasts of a 'jumbo' battery that promises continued music playback of up to 36 hours. Nokia said X1-01 allows users to personalize their dual SIM experience with their own SIM name, call or SMS settings, logo, ringtone or music. This handset also remembers the settings for up to five SIM cards.

Qualcomm Uplinq 2011 Day Two Keynote - HTC and Nokia

Today is the second and last day of Qualcomm's Uplinq conference in San Diego California, but we've still got a bunch in store. This morning, we sat down at the keynote and listened to HTC CEO Peter Chou talk about where HTC has been, its plans for the future, and make an announcement about HTC Sense development. After that was Nokia CEO Stephen Elop, who outlined five principles which will help Nokia  foster its own new mobile ecosystem in a joint partnership with Microsoft.

Nokia E6 and X7 Smartphones Announced - X7 For Mobile Gamers

Nokia today announced the Nokia E6 and the Nokia X7, two new smartphones aimed at business people and entertainment enthusiasts respectively. Nokia X7-00 Leaked from confirmed News

It is yet another device from Nokia after the X7-00 and E6-00 were leaked a couple of weeks ago. This time it is on the Nokia's Ovi Publisher tool that the device called as Nokia T7-00 has been listed under Symbian^3 category. The list of devices under the Symbian^3 are the C6, C7-00, C7-00_1, N8-00, T7-00 and X7-00. All these devices sport 360x640 pixels resolution which Nokia also called as nHD resolution. Details for the devices are scant and the leaked document just has the device’s model number, OS and display resolution.

Nokia N8 Review: Nokia's New Flagship

I remember one of the first mobile phones I ever used being a Nokia 5110i. It was among Nokia’s earliest of devices that packed an easy to use and straightforward interface in a supremely well-built package. Since we didn’t have as many phone launches each month back then as there are stars in the sky, the 5110i served me very well for more than three years without showing any signs of aging. That was in the mid to late 90’s. Fast forward to the end of this decade and we see Nokia’s current flagship, the N8-00, continuing to hold on to the Nokia tradition of building what are arguably some of the best constructed mobile devices on the market.

In many ways, with the Nokia N8-00 (referred to as the N8 from here on) it seems as though Nokia let its hardware and industrial design teams have a field day; this phone feels almost over engineered when held in your hands. While the current flagship demonstrates Nokia’s engineering prowess quite well, previous models seemed to epitomize what I felt was the company’s philosophy; build the software around the hardware. This worked just perfectly for as long as mobile phones were just that, devices used to make and receive calls and/or texts. Sometime in the last decade, Apple, Google, Palm and Microsoft redefined mobile experiences, and as a result old flaws have slowly become gaping holes in the Finnish device manufacturer’s proverbial armor.
