Verdict
Ati 5700 series is definitely a winner and they offer great performance at the right price point. The ATI 5750 is a great card and sometimes it even comes very close to the performance of a Nvidia GTX 260 and ATI 5770 when overclocked. The ati eyefinity feature is there for those of you who want to do some flight simulation and play some of the new racing games across three monitors. The 5750 handles most of the games like far cry 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Modern warfare 2, Call of duty- world at war and Battlefield bad company 2 easily up to a resolution of 1920x1200 in medium settings with good quality. Some games like Splinter cell conviction, Medal of honor 2010, Civilisation V, left 4 dead can even be played smoothly in high settings and hence this card falls in the mid-low range gaming card. An easy overclock of 15- 20% in Engine clock and 10-15%in memory makes this card a sweet overclocker.
The only problem is that the stock cooler is a bit noisy but it always keeps the card under 60 degrees. While some other cooler options like the Sapphire HD5750 vapour-x are cool n quiet under overclocked conditions by using solid state capacitors and black diamond chokes. The idle power of the card is near 20 watts while under full load it eats about 90 watts of power. With rich features such as Eyefinity, low idle/load power requirements, fast video editing, direct X 11 and crossfire capability all within a price range of $120-$130, the ATI 5750 is definitely the best choice for a entry-level gamer.
Pros
● Great idle/load temperatures (Low power usage)
● Price
● 40 nm
● Low temperatures
● Eyefinity
Cons
NOTE: The features mentioned above may vary according to different manufacturers models.
