Samsung Mini NC215S – With Solar Panel charging

The Korean company has developed a mini laptop that is charging using solar energy. Samsung NC215S has a solar panel on the cover and is scheduled to appear on the market in August this year.
Samsung wants to develop a clean technology to use it on portables and thus they will not depend on electricity. The new Samsung NC215S netbook is the first mini laptop that will enjoy a solar panel that covers the cap and will fully recharge in about 2 hours using only energy from the Sun. It is a niche that will begin to be exploited in the near future.

The laptop is equipped with a 6-cell battery powered by PowerPlus technology, together providing a range of about 14 hours on a single refill. This model was originally designed for markets in Africa and places where there isn’t that much electricity.
